We serve, educate and empower partner sites and provide ongoing support so that within 5 years of establishing a relationship, Hernia Help surgical service trips are no longer necessary to meet the needs of the local community

Provide free hernia surgery to underserved children and adults in the Western Hemisphere, practicing the Preferential Option for the Poor
EDUCATE
Train, mentor, develop, and support local general surgeons who will serve as trainers and future leaders
EMPOWER
Assist hospitals and public health authorities in creating self-sustaining hernia repair teams that can care for the local community
